NBC News Drone Makes Its Debut

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- NBC "Nightly News" recently used a drone equipped with a camera to capture footage of the aftermath on Vanuatu which was recently hit by a cyclone, according to The Washington Examiner.

The use of drones could change the way news footage is collected, and how stories are reported. NBC had used its drone before to capture footage of Niagara Falls when it had frozen over due to record cold, The Washington Examiner said.
