The Italian eatery, which started serving diners July 4, is run by the Resulbegu family: Married couple Jimmy and Luana and their three daughters.

They chose Larchmont for the neighborhood, the foot traffic and the fact that it's close the train station (it's practically next door on Chatsworth Avenue). The modern Italian eatery hopes to be known for its high-quality food at reasonable prices.

According to Albiona, one of the daughters, her dad has had experience working in high-end Italian restaurants for the past 25 years, first in Manhattan, and later in Port Chester.

Trattoria 141, she added, will not be your typical old-school Italian food. Expect modern touches as well as a rotating roster of new dishes throughout the year, as well as lots of homemade fresh pasta.

Among the items on the menu: Pasta Integrale (whole wheat pasta with fresh vegetables in a light garlic and oil sauce), Seafood Ravioli (homemade ravioli stuffed with scallops, shrimps, and crab meat in a brandy and pink sauce), Cod Fish Toscana (cod fish with mussels, cannellini beans and scallops in a white wine and touch of marinara sauce), Pollo Contadina (boneless chicken sautéed with sausage, mushrooms, capers and potatoes, in a white wine sauce) and Short Ribs served with gnocchi.

Follow their Facebook page and website for upcoming specials and happy hour offerings. Go to www.trattoria141ny.com for more details.

The restaurant is at 141 Chatsworth Ave.,  914-937-7200.
