When Ardsley High School teacher Diana Evangelista and her newborn son, Luke, were diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, numerous transfusions saved their lives. Now five years later, they are both strong and cancer-free.

Ardsley High School students, faculty and staff members ask the community to give the gift of blood and help save a life. Donors must be between 16 and 75 years of age (16-year-old donors require a parental permission slip available at the drive; those 76 and older require note from a physician). Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds. Eat and be well-hydrated before donating.
