Ardsley To Honor Local Veterans On Memorial Day

ARDSLEY, N.Y. -- The Village of Ardsley will honor 14 Ardsley High School graduates who were killed in action when the community celebrates Memorial Day on Sunday.

American Legion Post 458 announced its Memorial Day parade and ceremony plans beginning with the Ardsley Fire Department's Veteran's Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. at the firehouse at 505 Ashford Ave. prior to the parade.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Park Avenue and head east on Ashford Avenue to Pascone Park where the ceremonies will take place. Veterans and citizens will spend a few moments remembering 14 graduates of Ardsley High School who made the supreme sacrifice. The parade committee is also looking for volunteers who can provide convertible automobiles and would like to drive a veteran in the parade.
