DOBBS FERRTY, N.Y. -- Unwilling to let the summer go too quickly, the Dobbs Ferry Recreation Department and the Village of Dobbs Ferry are sponsoring a weekend of extended pool hours and events.
The village annually extends pool hours at the Gould Park Pool for members after the Labor Day holiday and beginning of the school year. The pool will be open to members Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.
Dobbs Ferry Recreation Department Superintendent Matt Arone also announced an outdoor movie night at Gould Park on Saturday when the film “Wreck-It Ralph” will be shown at 8 p.m. Nonna’s Deli will be on hand selling food at a barbecue .
Arone noted that those interested in using the pool must be a 2013 member to enter. For more information on the pool openings, call the pool office at 914-693-5505.
