Dobbs Ferry Veterans Day Filled With Events

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- A memorial ceremony and special breakfast are set to highlight the Veterans Day events in Dobbs Ferry Monday.

Veterans Day events get underway with a breakfast at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Embassy Club Senior Center on Palisade Street in Dobbs Ferry, according to a press release. The Veterans Day Breakfast is sponsored by the Village of Dobbs Ferry's Senior Program. All veterans in attendance will eat free, according to the release. 

The village will honor veterans with a re-dedication of the Little White Church Cemetery and Veterans Day ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Little White Church Cemetary on Ashford Avenue in Dobbs Ferry, according to the release. 

"All residents are invited to participate to officially re-dedicate the cemetery, and for the unveiling of the new Military Memorial and Revolutionary War Monument," representatives said in the release. "We will also formally recognize and honor our country's veterans in the confines of this beautiful and historical property which has been reclaimed for all to enjoy and reflect."
