The film is set to begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 at the Hastings-on-Hudson Library at 7 Maple Avenue in Hastings-on-Hudson, according to a press release. The Friends group screened Polley's film "Take This Waltz" in 2012 and representatives said the follow-up "couldn't be more different and yet explores many similar issues," according to the release.

"The film can superficially be described as the director's attempt to learn more about her mother who died when Polley was a young girl, but any attempt to categorize this film is doomed to be inadequate," representatives said.

Residents are invited to attend the screening at the Hastings-on-Hudson Public Library Sunday. The film is 103 minutes and is rated PG-13.
