HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Local youngsters can combine their love of art and the environment in the Hastings Recreation Department's Clean-Up Day poster contest. Children in kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible to enter the poster contest - "Hastings A Neat Place To Live" - as part of the village's April 20-12 Clean-up Day Weekend celebration.
All participants must have a Clean-up Day theme. The completed posters, which will be displayed throughout the village, are due back to the Recreation Department by April 18.
