Hastings Set For Friday Night Live 'Spring Thing'

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The streets of downtown Hastings-on-Hudson will be filled with music, food, art and dancing when the village hosts its Friday Night Live "Spring Thing" street party Friday beginning at 6 p.m. The event, which will feature musical performances by the Hastings High Chorus and the Jay Azzolina Trio at the Hastings Station Cafe and a street fair in downtown Boulange Square area , marks the beginning of summer. Music will be provided by Pandemonium Steel Drum Band and local businesses will be open through 9 p.m. Upstream Gallery will host a Pop-Up cooperative artists’ gallery at its 8 Main Street location through the weekend. Main Street and Warburton Avenue in the village will be closed to traffic.
