Senior citizens from the Yorktown Heights Senior Center and the Seabury Assistive Living facility discussed how the community has changed in recent decades during the day-long “Seniors Go to the Beech Day.”
The day included a luncheon, gifts for the senior citizens and performances from Lakeland Copper Beech Middle’s flute choir and chamber orchestras.
“New friendships were formed and others renewed,” Principal Robert Bergmann said in a press release. “It was (a) great day for everyone involved and we look forward to continuing this event in the future.”
