Man's Body Washes Up On Plymouth Beach Near Abandoned Vehicle: Officials

An investigation is underway after the body of an unidentified man was found on a South Shore beach this week, officials said.

Plymouth Police responded for reports of a body that washed up on White Horse Beach around 4:42 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office told Daily Voice. 

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, the office said. Police also found an abandoned car in the same area where the man was found. His identity was not released. 

No foul play was suspected and no other information was released. The investigation is ongoing.
