Mercy College Hosts 14th Annual International Film Festival

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Film lovers will be treated to a week of critically acclaimed movies when the 14th Annual Mercy College International Film Festival begins Tuesday at the Dobbs Ferry college.

The festival kicks off with Tuesday "Meet the Director" night featuring documentary director Esther Podemski, who will discuss her films "The Peasant and the Priest" and  "House of the World."

Other highlights of this year's line-up include the Golden Globe nominated film "The Intouchables" (France, 2011); Cannes Film Festival award winner "The Wind Journeys" (Colombia, 2009) ; and a newly release film "Lucky" (South Africa, 2011).
