Passover is a major Jewish holiday commemorating the escape of Hebrew slaves from ancient Egypt. Families and other groups gather to retell the story of The Exodus during a special Passover Seder meal.
The Greenburgh Hebrew Center in Dobbs Ferry began its celebrations Friday and will have its First Seder at 6:57 p.m. Monday.

Temple Beth Shalom in Hastings-on-Hudson will conduct a community Temple Seder Tuesday on the second night of Passover.
