TARRYTOWN, N.Y. - Eight teenage actors from the Rivertowns will be featured when The Random Farms Kids presents "Legally Blonde" at the Tarrytown Music Hall for a Jan. 26 through Feb. 3 run.
Hallie Cronin, Isabelle Knezevic and Beckett Morris of Dobbs Ferry, Casey Odesser and Muriel Ossip of Hastings and Ben Milan-Polisar, Ariana Perlson and Jenna San Antonio of Irvington are in the cast of the musical based on the hit movie.
"Legally Blonde" is a singing, dancing, hair styling, jump-roping, cheerleading, crime-stopping extravaganza," said director Alexis Grausz of the Random Farms Kids' Theater. "Our performances feature amazing performers who have been working tirelessly."
"Legally Blonde," which was a blockbuster movie starring Reese Witherspoon, became a Broadway hit in 2007 after MTV aired a reality show competition seeking a new star to play Elle Woods, a Malibu sorority girl who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School.
The Broadway show was nominated for seven Tony Awards in 2008 and is currently running in successful touring productions. More than 130 young people from the Random Farms Kids' Theater will take to the stage in four different casts.
Tickets for the show are $18 for adults, $16 for students and seniors, $14 for groups of 20 or more. Premium seats, the first four rows of center orchestra, are $23. To reserve tickets, go to the theater's website or call TicketForce at 877-840-0457. Tickets will also be available at the door.
