Secret Service, County Police To Escort Special Holiday Dignitary Friday

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The United States Secret Service and the Westchester County Police Department are teaming up to escort a special dignitary to Arc of Westchester sites in Hawthorne on Friday, Dec. 20.

The two organizations would not confirm the name of the dignitary, but officials said that the event is named "Operation Sleigh Bells." The special dignitary is set to receive a presidential-style motorcade as the two groups visit the Arc of Westchester's Children's School for Early Development at 40 Saw Mill River Road at around 10 a.m. Friday. 

The motorcade is also set to visit the Arc of Westchester's Gleeson-Israel Gateway Center at 265 Saw Mill River Road at around 11 a.m. Friday. 

Officials said security procedures in place for this visit include full police motorcade support, U.S. Secret Service fully-armored Presidential limousine and follow-up vehicles, a Westchester County Police Department Aviation Unit Helicopter and a Westchester County Police Department Bomb Squad and Canine Unit.
