Beginning next month on the Fourth of July, the concert series will kick off at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck, where there officials have lined up “a fun and eclectic mix of entertainers for July with plenty of great music for everyone.”

On Tuesday, July 4, the St. Thomas Orchestra will perform during the fire department’s 70th annual carnival. The Soundettes will kick off the event by performing the Star Spangled Banner at 8 p.m.

There will then be three Sunday performances that begin at 7 p.m. There will be no rain dates.

  • Sunday, July 16, the Bensen-Scott Big Band will “bring to life the smooth and brassy sounds of the 1940s swing, blending it with New York and Latin jazz, to create a sound that is timeless and fresh.”
  • Sunday, July 23, Indie-folk band Scott Wolfson and Other Heroes “will get the place rocking with their get-up and boogie folk-pop-rock swagger.
  • Sunday, July 30, “just try to keep from getting up and dancing when 3D Ritmo de Vida plays their blend of Latin, tropical and soul with a New York attitude.”
