The event, on Saturday, May 6, will be held at the Society's location at 7 Saxon Wood Road from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Expect unique handmade, ethically sourced, and locally produced items, including art glass, woodwork, ceramics, jewelry, quilts, summer weight knits, bags, printed tees, 3D embellished greeting cards, organic bath, body, and hair products, baby items, candles, picture frames, and potted plants.

The show will also include local writers from Westchester Indie Authors, gourmet baked goods from Aunt Patti Cake Bakery, a flea market table, low-cost face painting, poetry-on-demand, live piano music, and representation from non-profit organizations like Amnesty International, Indivisible Westchester, and Operation L.I.P.S.T.I.C.K.

There will also be a food drive for the benefit of the Open Arms men's shelter in White Plains; all non-perishable donations are welcome.

All of the Society's proceeds will go to the Interfaith Council for New Americans, which supports refugees making new homes in Westchester.

Founded in 2016, the Council is a non-political, non-religious, all-volunteer group composed of six congregations in White Plains and New Rochelle. It provides support to new arrivals in the form of fundraising; finding safe and affordable housing; locating potential job opportunities; collecting furniture, clothing, and household goods; and connecting them to medical, education, religious, and other resources and services in the community.

The Ethical Culture Society is a humanist congregation dedicated to ethical living and working to create a better world for everyone. Go to www.ethicalsocietywestchester.org/ for more information.
