Monday, Sept. 9

New Moms' Group -- Babies newborn-12 months: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meet other Rivertown moms of babies who will become treasured new friends. $20 per meeting for series of 4 meetings. Rivertown Mamas, 145 Palisade St. #247, Dobbs Ferry.

Wednesday, Sept. 11

Hands-on Curiosity: Upcycling for Kids: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The class focuses on re-use of materials for artistic and original projects in unlikely ways. It’s an imagination stretcher. We’ll use old books, magazines, cardboard, duct tape, packing materials, driftwood, shells, rocks, even vegetables and more in ways you hadn't thought of yet. $195 per series. German Conversation Classes: 7 to 8:30 p.m. This class offers beginner to intermediate students an opportunity to practice their conversational German in a group setting with guided instruction from a native German speaker. $200 for all 10 classes.
