Friday, Nov. 16

Dobbs Ferry Farmers Market: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Find fresh produce, meat and more at the Dobbs Ferry Farmers Market, under new management from Westchester Greenhouses & Farm. Cedar Street, Dobbs Ferry.

Friday Night Jazz: 7-10 p.m. Jam out in open sessions with Jay Azzolina, Ron Vincent and Friends. Presented in association with Common Ground Community Concerts. Tickets: $5 at the door. Hastings Station Café.

Dobbs Ferry Middle School Fall Play: 7 p.m. Join music teacher Georgia DeFalco and her 45 middle school student performers for "Mixical," a musical revue. The show is composed of various songs from various musicals such as "Oliver!" and scenes from musicals such as "Guys and Dolls." Tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes before each show. Ticket prices are $6 for students and $8 for adults, Dobbs Ferry High School Auditorium.

Hastings Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. From Pura Vida Fisheries fresh fish to Kontoulis Olive oil and Taiim’s homemade hummus, Hastings Farmers Market is the “most fun you’ll ever have in a parking lot.” Hastings Library parking lot.

18th Annual Alternative Gifts Market: Noon-4 p.m. Life-sustaining gifts and crafts. Cash and personal checks will be accepted. Gifts that will make a world of difference. Grace Episcopal Church, Broadway and Main, Hastings.

Dance Conversation and Screening: 7:30 p.m. Nan Melville’s award-winning film "Nrityagram: For the Love of Dance" tells the story of a dance village in India. The film made its debut in 2010 as a selection of the Dance on Camera Festival at Lincoln Center. Darielle Mason, the Stella Kramrisch curator of Indian and Himalayan art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, will deliver an introductory talk. Seating is limited. Baby, Toddler & Big Kid Bonanza: 12:30 to 3 p.m. NY Mom’s World brings its popular Baby, Toddler & Big Kid Bonanza to Westchester County new moms and moms-to-be. Moms of toddlers and big kids will demonstrate the hottest baby and kid gear in a setting where people can mingle, hear from a keynote speaker, and visit with national and local sponsors.
