DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Here’s what’s happening in Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley and Hastings this week including government meetings and community events. Check out events section for more items. 

Monday, July 16

Chess Workshop: 4 to 5 p.m. The Hudson Library hosts a chess workshop for children in grades two to eight, 7 Maple Avenue, Hastings.

Tuesday, July 17

Dobbs Ferry Board of Trustees: 7:30 p.m. The board of trustees will meet at the Village Hall, 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry. 

Hastings Board of Trustees: 7:30 p.m. The board of trustees will meet in the Municipal Building, 2nd Floor Meeting Room, 7 Maple Avenue, Hastings. 

Wednesday, July 18           

Let’s Pretend: 9:30 and 10:15 p.m. The Hastings Library hosts a Mother Goose time, ADD, Hastings. 

Story Time: 1:30 p.m. The Dobbs Ferry Library hosts a story time, 55 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry.

Art Workshop: 6 to 7:15 p.m. The Hastings Library hosts a family art workshop for children accompanied by at least one parent or coworker. Degas and Monet are the topic of the workshop, 7 Maple Avenue, Hastings.

Summer Music Series: 6:30 p.m. The Village of Dobbs Ferry and the Jazz Forum Arts co-sponsor the Jazz Elite Band as part of the free concert series at Waterfront Park, Shore Drive, Dobbs Ferry. 

Conservation Board: 7:30 p.m. The Conservation Board will meet at the Village Hall, 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry.

Movie Night: 8 p.m. The Village of Dobbs Ferry hosts two outdoor family movies at Waterfront Park, Dobbs Ferry.

Thursday, July 19

Toddler Time: 11 a.m. The Dobbs Ferry Library will host a toddler time, 55 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry.

Art Workshop: The Hastings Library hosts an art workshop from 4 to 4:45 p.m. for children entering grades one and two, and 5 to 5:45 p.m. for children entering grades three to seven. 7 Maple Avenue, Hastings.

Summer Reading Club: 5 p.m. The Ardsley Library host a summer reading club for grades kindergarten to five. The theme is Balloon Bonanza. 9 American Legion Drive, Ardsley.

Technical Advisory Committee: 6:30 p.m. The Technical Advisory Committee will meet at the Village Hall, 112 Main Street, Dobbs Ferry.

Hastings Planning Board: 8:15 p.m. The planning board will meet in the Municipal Building, 2nd floor meeting room, 7 Maple Ave, Hastings. 

Friday, July 20
