RIVERTOWNS, N.Y. – The high school winter sports season fills the local calendar as teams gear up for the February postseason tournaments and meets. Locally, Rivertowns teams play important league games at Hastings, Dobbs Ferry and Ardsley high schools. Check our Events page for more events.

Ardsley High School Basketball: 4:15 p.m. Eastchester High School visits Ardsley High School for a boys varsity league basketball game. 300 Farm Road.

Hastings High School Wrestling: 4:15 p.m. Dobbs Ferry at Hastings varsity wrestling match. Green Gym, Hastings High School, 100 Farragut Ave.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

Town and Gown Book Discussion: 7 p.m. The Dobbs Ferry Public Library hosts a discussion on "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" by author Jonathan Safran Foer. 55 Main St.

Hastings High School Basketball: 6 p.m. Hastings hosts Edgemont in a varsity boys basketball game. Cochrane Gym, 100 Farragut Ave.
