Hastings Youth Advocacy Program: Youngsters are welcome to the Friday Night recreation program beginning at 5 p.m. at the James Harmon Community Center, 44 Main St.

Riverdogs Poetry Slam: A poetry event at Curious-on-Hudson, 145 Palisade St., Dobbs Ferry at 8 p.m. Audience cost is $10.

Saturday, Feb. 23

Hastings Winter Farmers Market: The local Farmers Market moves indoors to the James Harmon Community Center for its bimonthly visit with fresh local produce from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m at 44 Main St. in Hastings.

Megillah Reading, Musical Purim Celebration: Purim Celebration begins at 7 p.m. at the Greenburgh Hebrew Center at 515 Broadway in Dobbs Ferry.
