Friday, Oct. 26

Farmers Market:  10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Westchester Greenhouses and Farms holds a farmers market featuring fresh, local produce and locally made goods. Cedar Street, Dobbs Ferry.

Kiss Alive!: Doors open 7:30 p.m., show starts 9 p.m. Kiss Alive!, one of the area's most popular Kiss tribute bands, will perform a show reminiscent of 1978 Kiss concerts, at Life: The Place to Be. The Jen Chapin Quartet:  7:30 p.m. Common Ground Coffeehouse and the First Unitarian Society of Westchester present The Jen Chapin Quartet, known for her urban folk music that focuses on community. 25 Old Jackson Avenue, Hastings.

Dewey-on-Hudson Lecture:  2:30 p.m. The Friends of the Hastings-on-Hudson Public Library presents “Ten Deweys and Ten Don’teys: Religion and Shelf Renewal,” a lecture by Rabbi Eddie Schecter, as part of the yearlong lecture series.
