Sunnyside Federal, which has served the Rivertowns since 1930, offers small business loans for companies, as well as commercial real estate loans. "Sunnyside Federal is lending and everything we do is in-house and personalized so businesses receive individual attention and a quick loan approval process," said Stephen Nelson, commercial loan officer at Sunnyside Federal. 

Sunnyside Federal offers many helpful products and services for companies, and as a community bank focuses on individualized attention for its customers. Sunnyside Federal takes the time to develop a relationship with each customer and makes its lending decisions on more than just numbers. "We believe banking should be all about forging relationships and building upon them over time," said Nelson. 

Over the last 20 years alone, small businesses have created two out of every three jobs, according to a National Economic Council report. Sunnyside Federal hopes to continue creating jobs in Westchester by offering loans to those who wish to grow their companies. "A lot of small business owners have great business plans, but just need the cash to execute it," said Nelson. "We are here to give them that fuel to do that."
