Photos: Filming An HBO Television Pilot In Hastings

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Filming of the HBO Television pilot "The Leftovers" went smoothly in of Hastings-on-Hudson Monday and Tuesday with residents participating as extras and observers.

Several scenes were filmed in the village using the Hastings Laundromat, River Roadhouse tavern and others venues along Main Street, Warburton Avenue and Spring Street.

Hastings High School cheerleaders, a local Girl Scouts troop, a village martial arts club and a number of residents were involved as background actors and extras.

The Warner Bros. Television production company worked well with Hastings Police in keeping the everyday activities of the village moving despite parking restrictions and the closure of main streets for filming.
