HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Bands filled the sunny late summer day with music and visitors strolled from interactive art exhibits to arts and crafts and food vendors at the 7th Annual Music & Arts Festival in Hastings Saturday.

Children enjoyed interactive games, making bead accessories and getting henna body art as food vendors from Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley and Irvington served a variety of foods. Patrons sat on blankets and lawn chairs turning to hear music from two stages.

Created and produced by 12MilesNorth , the Take Me to the River Music & Arts Festival brings nationally-acclaimed music, unique art installations and activities and promotes environmental awareness with Practically Green, an eco-expo of area green groups and businesses.
