Rivertown Eateries Are Taking A Bite Out Of Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

RIVERTOWNS, N.Y. --  Hungry? There are lots of options -- and lots of deals -- during Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, which begins March 9, and yes, reservations are being taken now.

The two-week promotion continues through March 22 and features prix fixe, three-course dinners for $29.95 and $20.95 lunches (plus drinks, tax and tip) with a focus on locally sourced seasonal ingredients.

More than 200 restaurants throughout Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster and Columbia counties are participating. Go here for the full list.

Twelve restaurants in the Rivertowns are taking part leaving you lots of options close to home. In Dobbs Ferry, eateries include Cedar Street Grill, Half Moon, Harper's Bar & Restaurant, Piccola Trattoria, The Cookery and The Parlor.

In Hastings, Forty North is participating.

Irvington restaurants include Il Sorriso, MP Taverna, Mima Vinoteca, Red Hat on the River and River City Grille.

Diners are encouraged to share their dining images during HVRW on Facebook, Twitter and Instragram for the opportunity to win prizes, including gift certificates to HVRW restaurants and sponsors.
