YONKERS, N.Y. — Westchester’s Ridge Hill Summer Concert Series kicks off with the band Abraxas: The Santana Experience, Wednesday at 6 p.m.

It is the first of six free concerts slated at the Yonkers shopping center this summer. The seven-man Santana tribute group is in its seventh year together. It has performed alongside members of the original Santana, Toto, Blue Oyster Cult and other tribute bands.

Westchester’s Ridge Hill has partnered with local radio station WFAS-FM to sponsor the series.

“The shopping and restaurants are great," said Laura Dolan, a spokesperson for the Ridge Hill's Summer Concert Series. "The concert just gives families yet another cultural option. It will kind of be a perfect finish to a long day of shopping."

The five remaining concerts are: former Yankee Bernie Williams on July 16; “Oh What a Night!”, a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons cover band, on July 27; Brass Transit, a Chicago tribute band, on Aug. 8; and You Can Close Your Eyes performing the hits of James Taylor on Aug. 15.
