HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Lifelong Hastings-on-Hudson resident, Mary I. Diasparra died Dec. 23 in Punta Gorda, Fla. at the age of 80. A funeral service will be held on Saturday.
Diasparra was born on Sep. 17, 1931 in Yonkers, N.Y. She worked for Hastings-on-Hudson schools, where she was an executive assistant.
She is survived by her brothers Frank Diasparra of Punta Gorda and Charles Diasparra of Bloomington, Ind.
Friends may call at the Hastings Funeral Home on Friday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Church in Hastings-on-Hudson, followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Yonkers.
