HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Former Hastings resident, Helen P. Morrissey, died Nov. 1 in Stuart, Fla. She was 72.
She was raised in Hastings and attended Iona College, earned a degree in medical technology. Morrissey retired from a career in personnel. Surviving are her husband Jim of Stuart, her son Brian of Wilton, Conn, her daughter Kerry of Stuart, her brother Richard, her sisters Maureen and Terry, her mother Anna Ryan and three grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Hastings-on-Hudson. A funeral mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Matthews Church in Hastings, followed by interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hastings.
