HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Village of Hastings-on-Hudson Recreation Department has established a registry that will help protect senior citizens during bad storms and other disasters.

The Recreation Department's registry will check in on its members to be sure they are safe and have necessary help after power outages or other storm- or disaster-related incidents.

Seniors are asked to submit their name, address, home and cell telephone numbers, email, emergency contact name, relationship and telephone number at seniors@hastingsgov.org.

Seniors may also download the registry's form online.

For more information, contact Bryan Healy at bhealy@hastingsgov.org or Anne Russak senioroutreach@hastingsgov.org or call 478-2380.
