Local Residents Taking Advantage of the Weather

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – With unseasonably warm weather and temperatures reaching into the high 50s local residents were out in full force Thursday afternoon enjoying it and taking advantage of the clear skies.

“It’s hard to believe it’s February,” said Dobbs Ferry resident Gosia Nosowicz.  “It’s a little windy, but it’s still awesome.”

Jamie Yau was out walking her dog with boyfriend Luke Anders and said she was basking in the warm sun while it’s here.

“It’s great, we’re just out enjoying it now,” she said.

Nosowicz said she was using the day to take the kids out and let them enjoy the park while the weather is as nice as it is. 

“Basically just watching the kids and running around,” she said.

While forecasts call for rain on Friday, it’s expected to be sunny with temperatures in the mid 40s to low 50s throughout the weekend.
