ARDSLEY, N.Y. - A new village website is under construction and will be online this summer, Ardsley Village Manager George Calvi announced Tuesday.

The agreement to design the new site was made with Massachusetts-based Virtual Towns and Schools on March 11 after several months of discussions involving Ardsley Mayor Peter Porcino, Trustee Nicole Minore and Village Clerk Barbara Berardi, Calvi said.

"I wish to take this opportunity to thank our current webmaster, Ardsley resident Steve Giglio at ComputerTek, for all the wonderful work and service he has provided to our staff for the last seven years," Calvi said in a statement. "We will always remember Steve as the person who took us by the hand and designed our very first website many years back, and we will be eternally grateful."

The design process should take about four months. Content from the existing website will be migrated to the new one when it is done.
