Ardsley Fire Department Swears In Newest Volunteers

ARDSLEY, N.Y. -- Mayor Peter Porcino swore in three new volunteer firefighters and three teenager fire cadets.

The volunteer firefighters are Brian Roemer, Marina Timmins and Gregory Khitrov.The fire cadets are Brendan Lindsay, Anthony Baker and Philip Gotthelf.

Gotthelf is a second generation Ardsley firefighter; his father is current volunteer firefighter Ed Gotthelf. 

Lindsay is a third generation Ardsley firefighter, His father is ex-fire Chief Patrick Lindsay, and his grandfather was the late ex-fire Chief John Lindsay, who at one time was also a village trustee.

Volunteer firefighter Brian Roemer is also a patrolman in the Ardsley Police Department.
