ARDSLEY, N.Y. An Ardsley resident was nearly on the hook for more than $9,000 in fraudulent charges recently.
Police said a 58-year-old Ardsley man was the victim of fraud and reported it to police on April 24. Police said the man reported two fraudulent purchases being made on his Diners Club card between March 22 and April 24. Police said the charges were two separate purchases of $7,403 and $1,826 during that time span. Police said the man was able to recoup his money though as his credit company voided the charges.
