ARDSLEY, N.Y. -- Ardsley resident Suzanne Furst has been named a member of SUNY Delhi's New York State Association of Veterinary Technicians for the 2013-14 academic year.

Furst is pursuing an associate's degree in Veterinary Science Technology.

The New York State Association of Veterinary Technicians provides a social and educational opportunity for students, encouraging them to expand their knowledge of the necessary veterinary technician skills.

Through continuing education, the club promotes high ethical standards to create and maintain a professional image.

Regular events, such as dog washes, give students the opportunity to combine interactive learning with community service.
