Astorino Lifts Fire Ban In Westchester County Parks

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino has announced Tuesday that the fire ban in Westchester County has been lifted

“As a result of the rainfall we’ve experienced over the past few days, the fire ban is no longer necessary,” Astorino said. “While the rain has eliminated the immediate dryness, I urge residents to be cautious over the holiday weekend. I have instructed the Parks Department to continue to monitor conditions in the parks.”
