HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. After two cab drivers were involved in a physical altercation, police investigated the situation and one was arrested for an unrelated incident.
Police said a man reported that he was assaulted by a fellow taxi cab driver on Feb. 21 just after 7 p.m. The man reported being punched in the face by the other driver at the Southside Avenue train station in Briarcliff Manor, police said. Although no arrest was made for the altercation, police said that after further investigation the cab driver, 51-year-old Yonkers resident Norman Miller, was driving while his license was suspended. Miller was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operation, a misdemeanor.

Gym Bag Stolen Off Front Porch - Police received a report via email of a gym bag being taken off the porch of a Ridge Street home on Feb. 21. The witness was able to report a license plate number to police who are currently investigating the incident. The contents and the value of the bag are unknown according to police.
Scent of Marijuana - A man was given a ticket for driving with an expired license after he pulled alongside police on Factory Lane to ask for directions around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 22, but officers detected an odor of marijuana in the car. Police investigated the situation, but nothing was found so the man was not arrested.
Stolen Hubcaps - Four hubcaps were stolen off a Hastings residents 2011 Subaru Impreza between Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. and Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. Police said the car was parked in a driveway on Broadway when the hubcaps were stolen. The value of the hubcaps was unknown.
