DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Construction that has begun on the Ashford Avenue bridge, which connects Dobbs Ferry and Ardsley, has some shopkeepers in the area nervous, according to News 12.
The bridge is surrounded by several businesses. According to News 12, the construction has so far allowed two lanes of traffic in each direction over the bridge. Still, shopkeepers are nervous their businesses may be affected and are trying to stay positive, according to News 12.
The project, to be completed in four stages, will at times force drivers to deal with fewer lanes of traffic over the bridge, according to News 12.
