DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - The Dobbs Ferry Village Board of Trustees will hold a work session Monday to review the Draft Environmental Findings Statement for the Rivertowns Square Project .
The purpose of the meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Village Hall is to review the statement dated Nov. 30, 2012, prepared by village counsel and the village’s technical consultants for the Rivertowns Square Project.
The project, between the Saw Mill River Parkway and Lawrence Street, would include an apartment building with 202 units, a gourmet supermarket, retail and restaurant businesses, and a Sundance Cinemas complex with eight screens.
Co-developers Saber Dobbs Ferry LLC and Lincoln Dobbs Ferry LLC have responded to comments by the community on the site plans by modifying the project to now include approximately 202 residential units (including affordable units), 18,000 square foot supermarket, approximately 62,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space, an approximately 123 room hotel and a 33,600 square foot theater, together with approximately 1228 parking spaces to serve all uses.
The Dobbs Ferry trustees unanimously voted to accept the project’s environmental review process in September when residents were notified that the board had not yet approved the project completely but had accepted the Final Environmental Impact Statement as part of the State Environmental Quality Review Act review process.
Immediately following the work session, a special meeting of the Board of Trustees has been scheduled to consider acting on the Environmental Findings Statement.
