Dobbs Ferry Town Board Meeting to be Held Tuesday

If you want to find out a little bit more about what's going on Dobbs Ferry, here's a rundown of meetings and deadlines in Dobbs Ferry this week.

Dobbs Ferry will be having its Board of Trustees meeting this week on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the village hall. Starting at 6:30 p.m. there will be an executive session on personal and legal matters in the village.

The following items are listed on the meeting's agenda :

• The village will consider waving parking restrictions at the waterfront on July 9 after a request from the Energy Taskforce so it can sell rain barrels and compost bins.

• The Downtown Business District will present a proposal to the village to support business development in the downtown area.

• Reports on the results of bid results for the Waterfront Shore line stabilization.

• The Board of Trustees will consider accepting Tony Wan's resignation as Fire Inspector, while also considering appointing Brian Cook and Edward Manley as Fire Inspectors.

• The board will also consider a motion to authorize the mayor to sign an Inter Municipal Agreement with the Town of Greenburgh.

• Michael Digilio's potential appointment as a Police Officer in Dobbs Ferry will also be considered.
