Dobbs Ferry's Curious On Hudson Hosts Author's Series

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Dobbs Ferry's Curious On Hudson's new author series for children will kick off with a visit from Jason Edwards, author of "Will Evans and the Great Monster Detective" on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 1 p.m.

Edwards is a teacher, storyteller, producer of entertaining educational enrichment programs for schools and libraries, and an authority on children's anxieties. His "Chronicles of the Monster Detective Agency" books have been earned the Mom's Choice Award for Family Friendly Media and an endorsement from the Anxiety Disorders Association of America.

There is a $10 per child fee for the discussion, but it includes a $5 coupon to the bookstore.

The author series for children will be held every other Sunday at 1 p.m.

Curious on Hudson is located at 145 Palisade Street in Dobbs Ferry.
