DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - Sean Hays, who played lacrosse at Dobbs Ferry High School, had his first goal and assist as a college player for Boston University Saturday. Hays and his teammates dedicated the game to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings and wore "Boston Strong" warmup shirts prior to the game against Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Boston area college.
Hays was a member of the Dobbs Ferry High School team that revived the varsity lacrosse program in 2009-2010. He and his teammates are supporting the Boston Marathon charity "One Fund Boston."
The Boston University Men’s Lacrosse Team competes as a member of the Pioneer Collegiate Lacrosse League (PCLL) within the New England chapter of the U.S. Lacrosse Intercollegiate Association (USLIA).
