Man Dies After Two-Car Crash In Irvington

IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- A man suffering from serious injuries after he was ejected from his vehicle him during a two-car accident Sunday morning in Irvington has died, according to multiple reports.

According to police, a Mazda and Toyota crashed into each other on the Saw Mill near Mountain Road and the I-87 interchange, reported lohud.com.

The driver has not yet been identified and the accident is still under investigation. No one else was injured, according to lohud.com.

There is no word as to whether speed was a factor in the crash, according to News 12 Westchester.

The accident resulted in the closure of the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway south1 of Route 119 for much of the day.
