A presentation on a plan to slow the growing deer population by contraception scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed. The board was initially scheduled to hear a report on deer contraception from Dr. Allen T. Rutberg of Tufts University.
Hastings and Dobbs Ferry have begun formal discussions and formed two committees to examine the idea of using a recreation superintendent for both villages.
Each community has appointed its own working group to examine issues regarding how such an arrangement would work. The working groups will evaluate and study oversight, program composition, job descriptions and opportunities that will benefit both villages.
