The Hastings-on-Hudson Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing Thursday to discuss a variety of issues in the village. The hearing is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at the James V. Harmon Community Center.
The hearing will have a review of the Proposed Comprehensive Plan under the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act. The comprehensive plan was created with three main goals in mind -- fostering economic development, promoting environmental stability and protecting and enhancing community character. The plan committee was created and began meeting twice a month in October 2007. Many of the concerns addressed by the plan are recurring issues voiced by the community.
The meeting is open to the public. More information on the Board of Trustees meeting and future meetings can be found on the Hastings official village web site.
