HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. The James Harmon Community Center in Hastings will host a Halloween workshop Thursday evening for local children. This drop-off workshop will let kids create various Halloween arts and crafts and treats. There will be boo cups, bat cupcakes and witch cookies among other treats. The community center encourages everyone to come dressed in their Halloween costumes.
The event runs from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and is for ages four to eight. There is a $20 fee per child for the event. You can register for the workshop online or in person at the community center. You can also download the application as well.
