HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. ? The Hastings Recreation Department restored all of its programs Monday and opened the James Harmon Community Center for full service.

The Harmon Center, located downtown on Main Street, remains open as a warming center from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. It has WiFi connections and offers residents without power a warm place to charge laptops and cell phones.

Hastings High School, Farragut Middle School and Hillside Elementary School also opened Monday morning.

The Harmon Center will be open Tuesday as a polling place.

Residents are warned to use caution near or in local parks while recreation staffers inspect for possible safety issues.

The Recreation Department, which has been assisting residents throughout the storm recovery, will post frequent updates regarding storm news on Facebook at Hastings-on-Hudson Recreation  www.facebook.com/HOHParksNRec or on Twitter @HOHParksNRec.
