HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. A Hastings man was robbed at gunpoint on the steps of his Warburton Avenue home Tuesday night, police said.
Hastings Police responded to a call from a woman at about 7:33 p.m. Tuesday, reporting that her neighbor said he had been robbed.
Hastings police said the victim reported he had returned to his Warburton Avenue home just after 7:30 p.m. and was walking up his front steps with bags containing electronic equipment when he was robbed.
The male pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded the property he was carrying, Hastings police said in a statement. The victim relinquished the property and fled to a local bar where he asked that the police be called.
Hastings, Greenburgh, Yonkers, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington and Westchester County patrols responded.
Police said the investigation was continuing and no further information was available Tuesday night.
