"It's a real honor to be re-elected to a fourth term," said Swiderski, a Democrat.
The two village trustees for Hastings-on-Hudson are now Meg Walker, a Democrat who has been re-elected to a fourth term, and Daniel Lemons, a Democrat who has been elected to a first term. Lemons will be taking Bruce Jennings seat as village trustee as Jennings will be relocating to Nashville, Tenn.
"It's a great feeling to be elected as a Village Trustee," Lemons said. "We worked really hard on this election to get the votes and it was a good process. I got to hear a lot of concerns and I look forward to working with the board."
Walker was very excited about her re-election to a fourth term.
"It's nice to have that kind of confirmation. Bryan (Healy) and his team ran a great campaign," Walker said.
Results were formerly announced at the Board of Trustees meeting, which was held after the election results were tallied.
Swiderski ran unopposed and received 1,402 votes.
Lemons, a newcomer to public office, received the most votes for village trustee -- 1,247, according to unofficial returns from the Village Clerk's Office.
Walker received 1,199 votes to win re-election.
Trailing the Democrats were Bryan Healy and Maryann Manchester, who ran on the Republican and Hastings First party lines. Healy received 612 votes and Manchester got 408 votes, according to unofficial returns.
The mayor is paid $4,000 annually year and village trustees are paid $2,000. All terms are two years.
